Ayurveda is an ancient alternative medicine system of traditional medicine with roots in India. Ayurveda is an ancient science of biology that describes the knowledge of longevity and the means to achieve it in a very simple way. The basis of Ayurveda is Tridosha theory. The three doshas are Vata-Pitta-Kapha. Ayurvedic theory states that their imbalance is the cause of disease. Health is the balance of evils.
Ayurveda has a long tradition in Kerala. Ayurvedic physicians and doctors have been providing healing and health to the people here for centuries. Ayurveda has been the basis of our main medical system since time immemorial. Kerala’s balanced climate, nature and monsoons have created a perfect environment for Ayurveda to grow. Another reason is the abundance of herbs for Ayurvedic ingredients. More than a health care system, Ayurveda is a way of life. Tourists can visit recognized Ayurvedic centers in Kerala and seek necessary treatments.
A treatment plan for many diseases is available in Ayurvedic science. Ayurveda is a method of caring for the patient’s mind and body, not just targeting the disease. Ayurveda recommends certain treatments for certain diseases.
Dhara : Dhara is a treatment for severe headache, insomnia, mental stress, mania, delirium, delirium etc.
